Sarah Harris is the founder of Serenity & Grace Therapeutic Services. She is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) and Registered Play Therapist (RPT). She obtained a Master’s Degree in Counseling with a concentration in Marriage & Family Therapy from San Diego State University.
With over 9 years of experience, Sarah is highly skilled in working with individuals, couples, children and families. Her specialties include depression, anxiety, pain management, grief/ loss, stress management, adjustment issues, relationships, parenting, child behavior issues, anger management and problem-solving/decision-making skills. She has a keen interest in working with military families and has received several awards from the United States Marine Corps for her contributions.
Sarah is a Clinical Fellow of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) as well as an AAMFT Supervisor Candidate. She is also a member of the Association of Play Therapy.
She is a TeleHealth Therapist providing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to chronic pain patients in rural areas. Additionally, Sarah also leads Social Skills groups for children at this practice. Click here for more information.
Sarah brings a wealth of clinical experience providing outpatient and Intensive in-home services to children and their families, especially as it relates to Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), Anxiety Disorders and Major Depressive Disorder.

Sarah is trained to engage children in a variety of play therapy techniques that cover a range of presenting issues. She truly believes in the power of play to propel children towards healing in a safe and accepting environment. Sarah is passionate about including parents in their child’s therapy and provides parent education about the child’s emotional, social and behavioral well-being, along with facilitating effective parenting skills.
Sarah also provides supervision to MFT interns, LMFTAs and LMFTs.
