Carolina Ramirez is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). She obtained her Master’s of Science in Social Work from Columbia University in New York; and is fully licensed in the state of NC. She is bilingual and bicultural, fluent in Spanish and English. Carolina has experience counseling children, adolescents, and families. She particularly enjoys working with families of children with special needs. Carolina has worked with individuals and families experiencing a variety of concerns, including autism spectrum disorders, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorders, adjustment issues, behavioral challenges, self-esteem issues, stress management, trauma, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, relationship issues, divorce, grief/loss, parenting children with special needs and many more. Carolina understands that the journey of life is not always easy and predictable, and that at some point in our lives, everyone faces difficulties that make us feel vulnerable, frustrated and unsuccessful. Her therapeutic approach involves a collaborative relationship based on trust and respect towards healing emotional wounds and reconnecting with life.
